By purchasing, downloading, installing or using any typeface from Tognollo Type (“the Foundry”, Victor Tognollo / Tognollo Studio), you agree to the terms below.
1. License grant. After payment, the Foundry grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to install and use the purchased font on one (1) computer owned and controlled by you. The license also lets you use the font in your own digital products, including self-hosted web fonts and apps (see Embedding). Need more installs or company-wide use? Contact me for an extended license.
2. What you can do. Use the font in any of your own design work: logos and trademarks, packaging and labels, posters, signage, merch, branding, social media, video, and digital or printed publications — including work you sell. Outlining the letters into vectors for a specific logo or lockup is fine.
3. Embedding (included). You may self-host the font as a web font (CSS @font-face) on sites you operate, embed it in apps you build, and embed it in PDFs/e-publications for viewing and printing — for your own projects. Embedding must not let third parties extract the font files as a standalone font.
4. What you can’t do. You may not share, send, copy or transfer the font files to anyone else — including clients, colleagues, contractors or subcontractors — unless they hold their own license. You may not resell, sublicense, rent, lend, redistribute or give away the font, or leave the raw files publicly downloadable. You may not modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or rebuild the font into a new or derivative font file, and you may not use the outlines to create another typeface.
5. Ownership. The font software and all intellectual property in it remain the exclusive property of the Foundry. Buying a license does not transfer copyright or ownership; all rights not expressly granted are reserved.
6. Updates & transfer. Updates, if provided, fall under this same agreement. The license is non-transferable without the Foundry’s written consent.
7. As-is & liability. The font is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, the Foundry is not liable for any damages arising from use or inability to use the font; total liability won’t exceed what you paid for the license.
8. Refunds. Digital goods — sales are final once the files are available to download. If a file is faulty or you bought the wrong thing, email me and I’ll make it right.
9. Termination. Breaking these terms ends your license and requires you to delete all copies of the font.
10. Governing terms. Tognollo Type serves an international audience; we’ll first work out any issue directly and in good faith. This is the entire agreement; nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights you may have where you live.
By purchasing and downloading, you acknowledge you have read, understood and agreed to this EULA.
A copy of this complete EULA is included with every font download, alongside the font files.
